Last Wednesday, February 21, Ibertech was present at the DB2 Big SQL session that took place at the IBM facilities.
In the session, the following concepts were discussed:

What is the big data?

The concept of BIG DATA emerges from the fact that we store, process and analyze the data we can extract value. The data is structured as:
Structured: relational bbdd), Semi-structured: HTML, and unstructured: for example, twitter comments. There are also sources that provide us with data.
The data is characterized by :

– VARIETY        – SPEED      – VOLUME     – TRUTHFULNESS        – VALUE
